Description Of Services

• The Material Handler will load, unload, and convey materials within the plant or work site, performing a combination of tasks including shipping, receiving, picking, and kitting under specific direction.
• Duties involve accurately locating, retrieving, and issuing materials for production, assisting with inventory cycle counts, and conveying materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices.
• This role is responsible for opening containers, counting and weighing materials, recording information, and aiding machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist.
• The ideal candidate will work under direct supervision, resolve routine questions, and communicate effectively with colleagues within the department to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Skills/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED -- (Required)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen -- (Required)
• Valid State Driver’s License with no violations -- (Required)
• Experience lifting 30 lbs. on a regular basis -- (Required)
• Experience operating a box truck and forklift -- (Required)
• Experience working in a warehouse / stockroom environment for 1 year or more -- (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication -- (Preferred)
• Positive team player -- (Preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.82 - $27.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
