Job Description:

• Develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices to meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements; serves as a Quality representative supporting departmental, site, and corporate quality goals.
• Provides quality engineering support across new product development, operations, and systems/services, including Design Assurance, Operations Quality, Supplier Assurance, Product Analysis, and related engineering disciplines.
• Identifies, implements, and maintains effective process control systems supporting product development, qualification, and ongoing manufacturing; leads assurance activities and CAPA systems to meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a quality leader or team member, supporting quality disciplines and decisions while applying systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis to identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
• Drives supplier quality performance through Part Quality Plan (PQP) implementation, including review, approval, supplier qualification, audits, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), regulatory requirements, and CAPA processes.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or non-technical degree with 5 years of relevant experience); minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering design, quality assurance, or regulatory assurance; ASQ CQE/CQA preferred with demonstrated supplier quality experience in the medical device industry.
