Travel Registered Nurse

Medical Surgical RN

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Local - Travel position

Location: IHS Gallup, NM 87301

Shift: 40 hours per weekContract Length: 6 months; with the option to extend

Payment: $50 $4.93 per hour (Health and Welfare) Travel Stipends if applicable

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer IV infusions and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing and monitoring.
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Participate in sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in memory care settings to provide holistic patient support.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in medical records.
• Assist in ventilating patients when necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certificate
• Nursing Degree diploma
• NRP and ENPC certificate preferred.
• 3 professional references.
