About:
Project Send It is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the
barriers to climbing and making the sport accessible to all kids. We provide resources to
families looking for healthy activities for kids, including financial assistance for climbing
programs.
Position Overview:
The Cascadia Director of Outreach will be instrumental in identifying
and connecting with community partners to better serve local families and youth in
the Cascadia chapter (NW Oregon and SW Washington). This role focuses on collaborating
with youth program managers at local climbing gyms and seeking out those who may
benefit from our opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about PSI’s mission
and bring creativity and dedication to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
● Initiate and maintain relationships with community partners.
● Identify community opportunities for tabling.
● Work with local climbing gyms to spread the word about Senderships and BCCF
scholarships.
● Collaborate with other local and national directors to ensure cohesive efforts.

This is an unpaid volunteer position, and the estimated time commitment is 4-8 hours per
month.
