Permit Coordinator
Project Resources Group is currently searching for a Permitting Coordinator in the Austin, TX market. Candidates will be responsible for the oversight, submission, and successful approval of all OSP Permit Design packages, covering all permits associated with a multitude of work scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, coordinate, process, and verify compliance with rules, regulations, and legal requirements applicable for all permits required from approving agencies for the placement and installation of fiber optic cable networks.
- Prepare and submit all required permit applications and associated documents to approving agencies.
- Make payments to the respective permitting departments with proper documentation.
- Be the key link into cities and jurisdictions.
- Tracks projects by maintaining organized records, monitoring progress, and providing updates.
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships for this market.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related permitting experience within the telecom industry.
- Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
- Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects.
- Interested and able to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands.
- Must be able to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and write effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- This role requires you to report into our Austin, TX office Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, overtime as needed.
