We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable OMMA Credentialed Budtender to join our dynamic team. As a key ambassador for our dispensary, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients about our premium cannabis products, and ensure compliance with all state regulations. Your energetic approach and product expertise will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel confident and informed in their purchasing decisions. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, providing detailed product information and recommendations
• Conduct product demos to educate customers on various strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stocking, merchandising, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales, including verifying customer IDs and OMMA credentials
• Provide exceptional customer service via in-person interactions and phone inquiries, demonstrating professional phone etiquette
• Assist in supervising staff or trainees when necessary, fostering teamwork and ensuring store standards are met

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
• Strong supervisory or leadership experience within retail or dispensary environments
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on clear, friendly interaction
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers
• Familiarity with cannabis products, industry regulations, and compliance standards (OMMA credentialing required)
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
