Development and Finance Associate (Part-Time)
Project Morry is a comprehensive, year-round youth development organization dedicated to empowering youth from under-resourced communities to envision and establish a positive future. Our ten-year commitment to each student closes the opportunity gap through a combination of academic enrichment and support, leadership development, and an exceptional summer camp experience.
Position
The Development and Finance Associate plays a key role in supporting development and finance for Project Morry to ensure smooth daily operations, provide timely and accurate up-to-date reporting/data to the fund development and marketing functions, and provide connectivity across fund development and finance operations.
Database Management
- Proficiency in data entry for all revenue streams, including pledges, grants, major donors and board members on a daily basis into Salesforce.
- Ensure all Salesforce codings are accurate and consistent.
- Send all corresponding thank you letters for donations that have been received within 2 business days.
- Ensure all data and contacts are up-to-date in Salesforce.
- Run mailing lists for different direct mail appeals.
- Create segmented lists to identify and manage specific channels.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly deposit reports, compiling information from multiple deposit sources.
- Manage Revenue and Expense reports for events, including Fall Annual Benefit, Special Summer Fundraising and Spring Fundraising Event.
- Pull any reports needed to support the fund development team, including preparing customized reports regarding campaigns, Board Give/Get, etc.
- Perform weekly funding reconciliation with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate funding records and reporting.
- Support Fund Development team as needed with invoicing for donation pledges, processing of credit card transactions, and related data entry and reporting.
- Work to acquire new donors through identification and prospect research.
- Provide research, support materials, talking points, and managing logistics for donor meetings and site visits as needed.
Additional Support:
- Manage and/or assist with special projects for Executive Director, Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Development, and Development and Marketing Manager upon request.

Qualifications
- Expertise with CRM and fundraising platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce.
- Committed to the mission and goals of Project Morry
- Proactive problem solver and able to think strategically and analytically.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ownership of work in an organized and responsive manner.
- Able to execute a variety of tasks with flexibility and clear communication.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work with a diverse community of people in a variety of settings, always maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree/ prior work experience in an administrative setting.

Hours and Compensation
This is a part-time position. Compensation is between $24.00-$34.00 per hour, dependent upon experience. Benefits include 40 hours sick time and 12 unpaid holidays.
Work location is currently hybrid with 2 days in the Port Chester, NY office required.
