Machine Operator

PMF Industries Inc, a Williamsport Manufacturer Specializing In Fabrications Constructed Of Stainless Steel And Other Formable Alloys Used In Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Food Processing, Micro-electronics, And Defense Markets, Is Seeking Highly Motivated Individuals For The Following Opportunity

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment:
• Operate production machines, use hand tools and various power tools.
• Produce an acceptable quality part.
• Use and accurately read drawings, instructions, gages, and all applicable measuring devices.
• Handle and lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Effectively use the PMF shop floor data collection system to log in and out of jobs and read and follow instructions.
• Follow daily work schedule.
• Perform general building/machine 5S maintenance.
• Handle and move material manually and using a forklift.
• Work to production standards
• Participate in PMF's continuous improvement program.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  
  

**Skills and Qualifications**

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use a computer.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Must pass PMF's pre-employment screenings, including Functional Capacity Exam, background check, drug test and nicotine test.
  
  

**Physical Requirements**

• Shop duty: able to stand and walk, lift up to 50 pounds.
