Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in implementing and supporting Project Impact 180’s youth programs. This position ensures that daily program activities run smoothly, that staff and volunteers have the tools they need, and that youth participants receive high-quality, engaging, and consistent experiences. The Program Coordinator also serves as a bridge between youth, families, schools, and community partners—helping to ensure programs are responsive, safe, and mission-aligned.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Coordination
• • Coordinate and oversee daily program operations across assigned sites (afterschool, summer, or weekend programs).
• • Assist in developing lesson plans, schedules, and enrichment activities aligned with program goals and the 5 Cs framework.
• • Ensure all required materials, supplies, and equipment are ready for each session.
• • Maintain attendance, sign-in sheets, and program documentation.
• • Lead or assist with student check-ins, community circles, and reflection activities.
Youth Engagement & Support
• • Build positive, supportive relationships with youth participants.
• • Encourage leadership, teamwork, and accountability among students.
• • Monitor youth behavior and provide coaching and redirection as needed.
• • Assist in coordinating incentives, field trips, and special events.
Staff & Volunteer Collaboration
• • Support onboarding and scheduling of instructors, mentors, and volunteers.
• • Communicate daily program updates, needs, and incidents to the Program Coordinator or Executive Director.
• • Assist in team meetings and provide feedback to strengthen program delivery.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
• • Collect and enter program data (attendance, surveys, and outcomes).
• • Support grant reporting requirements and documentation for funders (e.g., DHS, AMPT, etc.).
• • Maintain organized records and ensure all compliance documentation (background checks, forms, etc.) are complete.
Community Partnerships & Outreach
• • Serve as a point of contact for families, schools, and community partners.
• • Help coordinate outreach efforts to recruit youth and volunteers.
• • Represent Project Impact 180 at community meetings and events when needed.
