What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Maintenance Worker position at Project Hospitality?
WORK SCHEDULE:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the Operations Director in the oversight of the maintenance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Director of Operations in organizing schedules, and assigning work activities, assignments, and projects such as moves, relocations, and clean-ups
- Assist with oversight of all inventory and supplies for the operations team.
- Assist with maintaining the fleet. Ensuring that vehicles have up-to-date inspections, registrations, and supplies.
- Building and maintaining strong positive relationships with building Superintendents and Landlords.
- Monthly walkthrough of larger agency sites such as congregate or five-year leases.
- Provide weekly updates to the Director of Operations on all work order statuses.
- Monitoring all scheduled/routine maintenance for411 Vanderbilt (service agreements, inspections, HVAC, fire extinguisher, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE NEEDED:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in basic carpentry (painting, plastering, minor repairs, ac installation, flooring, etc.) is required.
- Must have basic computer knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and database management skills required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- A clean valid drivers' license is required.
- Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects as needed.
- Must have good communication skills both orally and written, with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues and/or regulations.
