As a Property Clerk, you'll support the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with administrative operations, resident services, and front desk responsibilities within a supportive housing environment.

You'll serve as a key point of contact for residents, staff, contractors, visitors, and community partners while helping maintain accurate records, coordinate communications, and promote a safe, welcoming, and efficient property environment.

  • Location: Inn of Amazing Mercy - 115 E. Huntingdon Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125
  • Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Compensation: $19.68/hour

What You'll Do

Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Welcome residents, visitors, contractors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Direct visitors and notify appropriate staff members of arrivals.
  • Maintain updated resident and property directories.
  • Respond to general questions and provide information regarding the property and community resources.
  • Serve as a positive and professional representative of Project HOME.

Administrative & Clerical Support

  • Support Property Management staff with daily administrative tasks.
  • Assist with collecting and organizing resident and applicant documentation.
  • Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and record management.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Manage incoming mail, packages, and deliveries for staff and site operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

Resident Communication & Support

  • Conduct service excellence surveys and follow-up regarding completed work orders.
  • Document resident concerns, complaints, and incidents as necessary.
  • Assist with resident communication efforts and administrative processes.
  • Support positive resident experiences through timely and responsive customer service.

Safety & Property Monitoring

  • Conduct routine rounds throughout the property.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report concerns to appropriate staff.
  • Ensure exterior doors and windows are secure.
  • Utilize security camera systems to support property safety.
  • Coordinate access for emergency responders and authorized personnel when necessary.

What You'll Need

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related administrative, clerical, customer service, property management, or office support experience.
  • Experience working with Property Management Software required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic computer and technology proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

What You May Bring

While not required, the following qualifications may help you succeed in this role:

  • Experience working in property management, housing, residential services, or supportive housing environments.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and community-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with tenant relations and resident support services.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and property management databases.
  • Experience handling confidential records and documentation.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
