At Project FoodBox, we’re building the infrastructure to deliver food as medicine at scale. We partner with health plans and community organizations to provide medically tailored meals and groceries to people managing chronic conditions.
We’re hiring a Program Operations Manager to own execution of our New York Social Care Network (SCN) programs—ensuring members receive services accurately, on time, and in compliance with Medicaid requirements.
What you’ll do:
• Own end-to-end program operations (referral → enrollment → delivery → reporting)
• Ensure reliable, high-quality service delivery at scale
• Identify issues quickly and implement durable fixes
• Partner cross-functionally (ops, support, finance, data) and externally (health plans, community partners)
• Build and improve workflows, SOPs, and operational processes
What we’re looking for:
• 4–7 years in operations, program management, or healthcare operations
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently
• Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Nice to have:
• New York Medicaid or managed care experience
• Experience with SCN (social care network), SDOH, or social care programs
• Familiarity with healthcare ops tools or referral platforms
• Experience leading or scaling teams
