We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, reliable, and experienced full-time Director of Human Resources to join our team!
Project Chesapeake & Recovery Network provide quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, and treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living.
Hours: (Full Time)
Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, HR, Labor Relations, or related field.
- Extra plus for HR Certifications like SPHR and CCP.
- 10 years of human resources experience.
- Proficient with ADP or other ATS.
- Knowledge & understanding of HR analytics.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Outstanding internal & external client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency & accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all benefits & leave administration, including leading open enrollment.
- Process & audit payroll activities, to include biweekly payroll.
- Ensure HR policies & procedures are aligned with goals & objectives of the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of recruiting, interviewing, & hiring. Ensuring compliance with best practices & legal regulations.
- Ensure completion of pre-employment checklist, including assessments, references, and background checks.
- Responsible for the communication & support for employee onboarding as well as termination, offboarding, and unemployment claims.
- Compile & update digital employee records.
- Maintain all HR records, following established policies & state & federal regulations.
- Participate in development of training materials & guides for HR users across the organization.
- Coordinate continuing education & professional development for staff.
- Prepare reports & communications for senior management.
- Provide policy / technical guidance to HR staff in field & other agency components about how to interpret, use, & implement current policy information & other various sources (e.g., regulations & statuses).
- Develop & implement HR strategies to further growth & achieve business goals.
- Consult on wage garnishments, conflict resolution, and other legal matters with outside counsel as required.
- Assist with research & support HR initiatives, recurring ad hoc processes, and projects.

Base Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
