ProInfoNet is looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This mid-level position provides advanced technical support for internal staff and external clients while assisting in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our IT systems and network infrastructure.

This role bridges helpdesk and engineering functions, resolving escalated support requests, maintaining systems, and assisting with network monitoring and maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the escalation point for NOC/Helpdesk Technicians, providing advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor network and system performance using LogicMonitor and SolarWinds, responding to alerts and assisting with uptime and SLA reporting.
- Perform hands-on configuration and maintenance on switches, routers, and firewalls under the direction of Network Engineers.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new technology deployments.
- Coordinate with service providers and vendors for circuit installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Support system documentation, data backup verification, and security compliance efforts.
What You Bring:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of IT support, systems administration, or network operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing, and switching).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and endpoint management tools.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , A , Microsoft 365, or CCNA preferred.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional after-hours work for maintenance or critical incidents.
