Job Details: Responsible for performing activities related to the leadership of the infusion pharmacy including advanced knowledge of the responsibilities of all the Infusion Patient Care Coordinator roles including supply management, advanced assessments, equipment management, and coordinating new/ existing patient services with patient/ caregiver, nursing, operations and dispatch. As well as technical knowledge, coordination of activities and development and support of new initiatives. Responsibilities All activities/ tasks involved within the Patient Care Coordinator roles as needed. Assists with leadership, management, training, and monitoring the performance and compliance of staff and provides feedback to the management team. Oversee the daily coordination, organization and instruction of daily activities/ duties and responsibilities. Assists with creating and updating processes/ SOP’s and assists with departmental projects. Assists with coordination of staff meetings. Assists or completes the department schedule. Assist management with creating and evaluating training materials regarding operational workflow of designated areas. Comply with Federal and State laws such as HIPAA, regulations such as OSHA, ACHC or other Standard Practice organizations and PBM contracting requirements such as FWA and CMC. Maintain or exceed designated quality and production standards. Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service, critical thinking and communication skills required. Knowledge and experience in homecare desirable, good prioritizing, multitasking, and time-management skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements 2-year college degree/ certificate or equivalent business/ healthcare related experience required. 2 years of Infusion Patient Care Coordinator roles experience preferred. Or equivalent experience in pharmacy customer service, pharmacy technician, and/or other related experience in an ancillary provider, or other relevant healthcare preferred. Infusion pharmacy experience preferred. Thorough knowledge in MS Office and PC skills required. Customer Service experience with communication via telephone, e-mail and face to face required. PTCB certification or willingness to obtain state certification as appropriate.
