Position Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to provide coverage at a mixed-use residential and commercial property. This role requires the ability to adapt to various assignments across the site. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires a professional, dependable individual who is eager to learn. The role involves working outdoors for a full 8-hour shift, performing patrols, and completing reports accurately and professionally. Candidates must be flexible and available to work primarily weekends, as well as swing and grave shifts, holidays, and occasionally cover last-minute call-offs.

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

• Monitor surveillance equipment and access points

• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and professionally

• Enforce building rules, regulations, and safety protocols

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and commercial tenants

• Complete detailed reports on daily activities and incidents

• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid security guard license (state-specific)

• Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred

• Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication and observational skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• CPR/First Aid certification a plus
