- Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Providing proactive injury prevention, early intervention (EI), and medical triage support as defined by OSHA standards.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments and consultations in both production and office environments.
- Delivering stretching programs, job-specific coaching, and wellness education to employees.
- Supporting and participating in Medical Response Team (MRT) activities.
- Performing routine audits (AED, first aid supplies, burn kits, etc.) to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Managing and maintaining on-site wellness initiatives, including fitness center operations and programming.
- Leading and organizing group fitness or wellness classes.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and providing feedback to employees and leadership.
- Partnering with site leadership to identify trends and opportunities for injury prevention and continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Athletic Training certification (ATC) preferred, but not required depending on experience.
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
