Safety Coordinator
Location: Fort Worth Area (Blue Mound Road, Saginaw)
Travel: Frequent regional travel to sites and customer locations
Position Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to support both site safety and plant safety activities across multiple project locations. This role is ideal for an experienced Safety Technician who is comfortable working in the field, climbing wind turbines, conducting investigations, and interacting directly with customers. Experience in plant operations, construction, or wind energy is strongly preferred.
- Perform site safety oversight, including audits, inspections, JSAs, and safety walkthroughs.
- Support plant safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Climb wind turbines and access elevated or confined locations as needed for inspections and incident reviews.
- Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
- Present investigation findings and safety data directly to customers and internal leadership.
- Provide on-site support during high-risk activities or outages.
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and targeted safety training.
- Monitor contractor compliance with site safety plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety records.
- Travel regularly to project sites across the region (vehicle or air travel depending on need).
- 1-5 years of experience in safety coordination or safety technician roles.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Background in construction, industrial plants, or wind energy.
- Ability to climb and work inside wind turbines (training or certification preferred but can be provided).
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers and field teams.
- Experience conducting investigations and writing clear, professional reports.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, GWO, or other safety credentials are a plus.
- Someone who is hands-on, field-oriented, and passionate about safety.
- A self-starter who can work independently on active job sites.
- A professional who can represent the company well when interacting with customers during investigations or safety meetings.
