Outlaw Conversions, Emerald Luxury Coaches, and Outlaw Conversions Service Center are seeking an energetic Safety Coordinator to oversee workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and safety performance across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage safety and environmental programs in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct daily plant safety inspections and observations.
- Coordinate corrective actions, employee training, and safety improvements.
- Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment meets OSHA requirements.
- Manage PPE inventory, ladder inspections, SDS logs, and OSHA documentation.
- Conduct new-hire safety orientation and ongoing employee safety training.
- Coordinate respiratory mask fit testing twice annually.
- Maintain training records, certifications, and injury/illness logs.
- Investigate workplace accidents and manage Workers’ Compensation reporting and follow-up.
Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations (Construction or General Industry).
- Safety compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Passionate about building and enforcing a strong safety culture.
- Ability to start within two weeks of offer acceptance.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- OSHA certifications (30, 500/510, 5119, 2225, 2045, 3115).
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
