What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Design Engineer - Plant Hatch position at Progressive?
- Technical review and verifications of mechanical calculations (Heat transfer, pump calcs, etc.)
- Technical review and verification of drawings
- Responsible for reviewing and preparing documents
- Oversight of all modification packages, owners' acceptance packages
- Be the single point of contact for assigned design projects.
- Provide oversight of external engineering firms during design development to ensure process is followed and schedule is kept.
- Coordinate on site reviews of the engineering product at various stages of design development.
- Coordinate design walkdowns.
- Coordinate final owner acceptance and approval of the finished design product.
