Location: Houston, TX
Reports to: HSSE Manager - USA
Travel: Up to 50% within the U.S. (primarily Texas)

Operating in 12 countries, they have an ambitious development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity. The HSE Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and sustainability of the HSSE Program across U.S. projects and operations. This position requires extensive experience in heavy industrial construction, preferably within renewable energy projects, and a strong track record in HSSE systems management.
- Contractor Safety: Participate in contractor pre-qualification and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Training: Develop and deliver HSSE training materials for field personnel.
- Coaching: Provide onboarding and coaching to new employees on HSSE requirements.
- Auditing: Manage the annual audit program and lead/participate in HSE audits.
- Reporting: Compile and lead weekly and monthly HSSE reporting processes.
- Incident Management: Support field sites in conducting thorough incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Experience:
- 4 years of proven success in HSSE Management Systems.
- Strong background in industrial construction safety; renewable energy experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in HSSE auditing, incident investigations, and training.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Formal qualification/training in health, safety, or environmental discipline.
- Certification or ability to obtain within 2 years (e.g., CSP, IIRSM).
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50% to company sites within the U.S.
