Customer Service Manager for established Powersports dealership. Responsible for all aspects of service department. This position reports directly to Dealership Store Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations in the customer service department
- Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner
- Manage service technicians’ daily workloads
- Create service order quotes and assign orders to service technicians
- Communicate status to customers and complete invoicing and follow-ups
- Navigate OEM Dealer Portals to troubleshoot problems and warranty information
- Maintain records, manage service reports, warranty audits and open backlog
- Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of equipment
- Evaluate productivity of technicians and profitability of service department
Job Requirements
- Mechanical background a plus.
- Experience as a service technician or a strong understanding of engine engineering
- Experience in handling customer service issues
- Experience in computerized shop management systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Automotive certifications a plus
- Strong computer Skills
