A day in the role
You’ll start at your well-organized bench, review clear work instructions, and assemble subcomponents into finished gas appliances. As builds progress, you’ll run functional and safety checks, collaborate with engineering, quality, and materials to resolve issues quickly, and complete final pack-out so products are ready to ship. Along the way, you’ll keep your area clean and safe and lend a hand to teammates when needed.
Core responsibilities
- Build gas appliances using hand tools, fixtures, and detailed instructions
- Conduct functional, quality, and safety tests to verify performance
- Perform final pack-off and prepare units for shipment
- Maintain an orderly, safe, and tidy work area
- Assist and guide other team members when appropriate
- Partner closely with engineering, quality, and materials teams
What you bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with hands-on assembly
- Bonus: experience with gas plumbing or assembly processes
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and follow precise instructions
