As the director of customer strategy – quoting, you’ll provide strategic direction for the emerging third-party platform quoting agenda in the Commercial Lines (CL) organization. You’ll drive top-of-funnel growth from partner quoting workflows that start outside carrier portals. You’ll lead a multi-layered team of up to eight people, with additional support from three aligned technical teams. Your team maintains and matures quoting APIs for Progressive’s Commercial Auto and Business Owner’s Policy products. You’ll identify and prioritize key third-party platforms and use cases where our APIs create the most value. You’ll also coordinate key investment decisions, such as an off-platform buy. Working through your team and cross-functional partners, you’ll plan and deliver initiatives that apply human-centered design, advanced technology, and data science to achieve profitable growth through our third-party quoting channels.
This is a remote position, with travel required for in-person meetings in Cleveland at least twice per quarter

Must-have Qualifications
- A minimum of 13 years of related professional work experience (e.g., definition and delivery of products through digital, voice, and agent channel experiences) and at least 5 years of leadership experience (e.g., directly managing or mentoring).
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 10 years of related professional work experience (e.g., definition and delivery of products through digital, voice, and agent channel experiences) and at least 5 years of leadership experience (e.g., directly managing or mentoring).
- Proven experience leading the digital acquisition journey, from segmentation and targeting through quoting and conversion, with ownership of funnel performance and optimization.
- Strong strategic planning and systems thinking skills, with the ability to develop and deploy frameworks that facilitate execution, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable value.
- Ability to frame analytical questions, interpret complex data, evaluate the quality of analytical work, and synthesize insights into clear strategic recommendations to secure consensus for new strategies.
- Experience building and leading teams, especially in emerging or fast-evolving business areas.
- Experience driving profitable growth in complex, regulated businesses—such as commercial insurance—with multiple acquisition channels including direct and 3rd party platforms.
- $156,825 – 193,725/year

Salary : $156,825 - $193,725
