Progressive Hydraulics, Inc. is hiring a Hydraulic Technician/Fabricator for our Fairfield, NJ location. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience building, assembling and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and power units.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate and test hydraulic systems and HPUs
- Read hydraulic schematics, drawings and BOMs
- Perform tube bending, pipe fitting and component installation
- Troubleshoot, repair, and support field service work as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulic systems, components, and schematics
- Ability to read technical drawings and job specs
- Tube bending, piping, and fitting experience preferred
- Welding and metal fabrication experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to perform active, hands-on physical work
