Key Job Elements
- Plans, develops, and manages new project requirements, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow;
- Conduct research to develop new and/or improve existing processes within Wheel, Axle, Bearing and Parts facilities in terms of delivered results, safety, and quality;
- Testing and monitoring equipment;
- Updating current system processes;
- Conducting risk assessments;
- Developing and implementing process strategies;
- Designing and planning equipment layout;
- Managing process resources;
- Optimizing current processes;
- Maintaining process documents;
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of production lines;

- Focusing on designing, optimizing, and operating various industrial processes;
- Delegates daily duties to the workforce to keep current and upcoming projects on task;
- Administers internal and external material movements;
- Executes ERP system requirements;
- Provides weekly and monthly reports on project status; develops and maintains reporting for various stakeholders in current projects as required;
- Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
BS mechanical or engineering degree;
3-5 years of experience working in project planning, estimating, accounting, QMS, logistics, EHS and general management in many positions;
Qualifications And Experience
- Training in Lean Manufacturing and Auditing;
- Understanding of various facets of the company: production supervision, supply chain, quality, engineering; HR, finance, etc.; ability to interface with support groups and understand how each function to manage team effectively;
- Project management experience; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; courage to make challenging decisions; understanding of production process and SOP’s;
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to work together in a team environment; ability to manage a diverse workforce;
- Understanding of scheduling and manpower planning;
- Strong proficiency in software applications and ERP systems; strong proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools.
