- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, coordinating all phases from initial intake to settlement or trial preparation
- Conduct thorough client interviews to gather case details, medical records, and relevant documentation
- Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis, to support case strategy and compliance
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate case files using document management systems like PCLaw and ensure timely updates in litigation databases
- Collaborate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progress
- Perform detailed legal research on personal injury law and related areas such as workers' compensation law and insurance regulations
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and reviewing depositions
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements through effective project management skills
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized records
- Paralegal experience or legal administrative experience with a focus on personal injury law or litigation preferred
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis, and other legal research tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
- Exceptional written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Experience conducting client interviews with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law or other specialized areas is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform detailed legal research on diverse topics including workers' compensation law and litigation procedures
- Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high attention to detail
