Configuration Engineer

Role Overview

The Asana Admin / Configuration Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Asana to support efficient workflows, reporting, and governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Asana workspaces, projects, teams, custom fields, rules, and templates
• Design scalable workflows aligned with business processes
• Manage user access, permissions, and governance standards
• Maintain dashboards and reporting for operational visibility
• Support integrations and automations within Asana
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize performance
• Document configurations, standards, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience administering and configuring Asana
• Strong understanding of workflow design and project management concepts
• Experience with Asana rules, custom fields, portfolios, and reporting
• Ability to translate business requirements into Asana configurations
• Strong documentation and communication skills
