What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Cleaner position at Programmed Cleaning, Inc.?
We are Seeking a Full-Time General Cleaner position available, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with a wage increase after successfully completing the 60-day probationary period.
Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, wiping down tables, dusting, and vacuuming. Once fully trained on the assigned route, the cleaner will work independently.
The Lodi buildings are not accessible by bus route, so reliable personal transportation is required. A driver's license is not required. Free on-site parking is available.This position is available for an immediate start. Occasional weekend shifts may be required to provide cleaning coverage for special events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:
• Dust and clean surfaces such as desks, cabinet tops, partitions, and other furniture.• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport contents to designated disposal areas.• Sweep and mop hard-surface flooring.• Vacuum carpets and floors using upright vacuums and backpack vacuums as needed.• Perform spot cleaning on carpets to remove stains and dirt.• Clean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors.• Sanitize and clean sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other restroom fixtures.• Maintain restroom cleanliness and ensure supplies are fully stocked at all times.• Polish metal fixtures, fittings, and other metal surfaces.• Duties and assigned work areas may be adjusted based on customer needs or management discretion.• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
