Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Henderson, NV. The Accountant will handle daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to financial record-keeping, account reconciliation, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to support decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The Accountant will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals, as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial record-keeping, account reconciliation, and preparing journal entries
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in the logistics or distribution industry is a plus, not required
