Mammography Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- The major challenges to this position include being able to understand and apply the technical skills required to operate mammographic equipment.
- The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to adult and geriatric patients served, and meet standards of quality as measured by the unit/department age-specific competency standards.
- This position has the authority to make technical decisions that will provide the best possible mammographic image quality.
- This position must be proficient in the use of the MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT.
- This position will require training and general knowledge attained to operate the hospital and department computer systems.
- This position does provide patient care.

Mammography Tech candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Call Requirements: No Call
- Licenses: ARRT and NV State License (Must have license before start date)
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Experience Required: 2 years of Mammography Tech experience is required
