Role: Occupational Therapist (OT) providing therapy services in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities: Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, assist patients with daily tasks and disabilities, assess home and workplace environments, educate patients and families, recommend and instruct on the use of equipment, and document progress in compliance with guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), BLS certification, NBCOT-OTR certification, state licensure, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
Key Duties: Evaluate patient needs, develop personalized care plans, modify activities for rehabilitation, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
