Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER) - Evening/Night Full-Time

Role Overview: This position is for an Emergency Department RN responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized treatment and cultural sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide relationship-based, culturally competent care that involves patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Coordinate safe, quality care by documenting accurately and fostering teamwork within a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practices.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to colleagues and students, contributing to a healthy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and safety standards, including protocols for emergency situations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN (single state or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (all obtained upon hire).
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills; ability to thrive in a high-pressure setting.
