Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and evaluate patient care plans, and supervise non-licensed staff. Provide education and emotional support tailored to patient needs, incorporating family teaching into care practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate from an accredited nursing school with a BSN or equivalent, with experience in ICU, CCU, or critical care and in cardiac rehabilitation preferred. Must hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and preferably certifications like ACSM or Cardiac Rehab. Knowledge of dysrhythmia, cardiovascular pathophysiology, and exercise physiology is desirable. Strong computer, education, and holistic patient care skills, especially for older adults, are essential.
