Radiology Technologist

Role: Perform and assist in a variety of radiographic examinations and procedures, demonstrating competency across all age groups while adhering to established policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently with extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiation physics, and dosage
• Confirm clinical data, obtain patient history, and minimize radiation exposure while producing high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety, emotional well-being, and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Perform additional radiology tasks as needed and identify equipment issues promptly
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program and registry eligible
• Licensed in Massachusetts as a radiologic technologist
• CEU documentation for licensure
  
  

Preferred Skills

• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS may be required based on specialty
• Over one year of radiology technologist experience
• Knowledge of digital radiography, Epic, PACS, scheduling, and related systems
