CT Technologist - CT Scan

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs computerized tomography procedures, collaborating with radiologists to deliver accurate scans while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and precise CT exams following departmental protocols.
• Provide excellent patient-centered service, including education and radiation safety checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation within RIS and PACS systems.
• Serve as a mentor and educator for rotating imaging students.
• Assist with workflow improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean environment.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration.
• ARRT CT Certification or Registry Eligible (must obtain within 12 months).
• Current BLS Certification.
• 1 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred but not required.
