The Infusion Charge Nurse is responsible for

  • assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
  • utilizing nursing theory and professional standards to ensure quality patient care
  • supervising and coordinating nursing staff within the infusion unit
  • maintaining compliance with unit-specific certifications and requirements

Qualifications Include

  • an active RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • additional certifications relevant to the infusion unit as applicable
