We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is key in supporting business operations, maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between shop floor, inside sales, and logistics. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities and provide administrative support to ensure efficient workflow across departments.
- Serve as a central point of communication between departments to support collaboration, task follow-through, and operational alignment.
- Track, maintain, and update operational data, reports, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with scheduling, work coordination, and prioritization of operational activities to support business needs.
- Monitor assigned tasks, projects, and action items to ensure completion and timely follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support initiatives focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other operational documentation to support leadership and business functions.
- Maintain organized records, filing systems, and documentation related to operational activities and business processes.
- Support cross-functional teams with special projects, administrative tasks, and operational initiatives as assigned.
- Promote a professional, organized, and safety-focused work environment while supporting company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs and business objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in operations, administrative support, office coordination, or similar role; manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) preferred.
- Strong data entry and reporting accuracy.
- Familiarity with manufacturing terminology or processes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing individual responsibilities.
