Role Description The Project Manager / Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Franklin, TN. This role is responsible for managing commercial projects from bid through closeout, including estimating labor and materials, preparing proposals, and developing project budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating with general contractors and vendors, scheduling crews, and monitoring project progress and costs. The Project Manager / Estimator will conduct site visits, oversee inspections, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and address field issues as they arise. The role also involves tracking change orders, updating project documentation, and supporting procurement and logistics to keep materials and equipment flowing efficiently to job sites.

Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including experience planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing multiple commercial construction projects.
- Capability in expediting and expeditor responsibilities, ensuring timely material delivery, submittal processing, and resolution of project bottlenecks.
- Experience with inspections and quality control, including coordinating required inspections and verifying work meets plans, codes, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of logistics management, including material procurement, delivery coordination, and on-site stock control to support field operations.
- Prior estimating experience in commercial framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and related trades, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Proficiency with project management and estimating software, as well as MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with field teams, clients, vendors, and trade partners.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems on site, and maintain organized documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in commercial construction or a related field; a relevant technical certification or degree is preferred but not required.
