OPEN POSTION IS FOR 2nd SHIFT
Customary Days: Monday - Friday
Customary Hours: 8/10 Hour Shift - Depending on the season
Position Summary:
The grinding production position is part of a rotating position within the production plant. Primary responsibility is making sure all paper is clean and ready to run into our equipment. This can include picking debris from paper pile, dumping gaylord boxes and breaking bales. Some secondary responsibilities within the rotation are cutting open chemical and/or fiber additives and placing them into a bin, cutting open defective bales and placing them in our reprocessing bin, driving a forklift (training provided) and general housekeeping duties as well as giving other production employees breaks.
- Keep paper clean and orderly.
- Adding chemical and/ or fiber into production bins.
- Maintain preset production goals.
- Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.
- Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing.
- Operate forklift to load and store bags.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Perform additional duties as required.
