What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Body Restoration Technician position at Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers?
Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers specializes in restoring and customizing Toyota Land Cruisers (all years and models) and we are seeking a Body Restoration Technician to join our stellar team. We are located in Austin, Colorado on the Western Slope of the Rockies at the base of the Grand Mesa.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of education in automobile paint/body restoration OR five years of professional workshop experience. Applicants that do not have these qualifications will not be contacted unless a cover letter explaining why they should be considered is attached. Daily responsibilities include: sanding, applying body filler, disassembly and reassembly of automotive body components and might include application of automotive paint and primer. Body technicians at Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers are given a once in a lifetime opportunity to build and restore classic vehicles that literally set the bar in the automotive restoration industry. We pride ourselves in our commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement (Kaizen) in all that we do, and the right candidate will live by these principles as well. The right candidate will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for a long-term, career-minded professional to join our superb team.
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and a 4-day workweek. (More time to play outdoors!) We also offer health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days.
