Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst (Junior) to join our team of professionals in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Engineering and Logistics Directorate (SEA 05).
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Providesfinancial managementsupport for SEA 05 programs and projects,assistingwith budget development, execution, and financial reporting activities.
- Supports Program Managers (PMs), Business Financial Managers (BFMs), and Government personnel with financial planning, management, execution, and analysis of program and project funding.
- Assistswith budget planning documentation, obligation and expenditure tracking, and preparation of reports supporting fiscal year execution and financial performance reviews.
- Supports Midyear Reviews, End-of-Year Closeout, Task Planning, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) activities as directed.
- Reviews financial data,identifiesdiscrepancies or deficiencies, andassistswith recommendations to improve program execution and fundingutilization.
- SupportsDefenseTravel System (DTS) administration byassistingGovernment travelers, reviewing authorizations and vouchers, andmaintainingtravel metrics, documentation, and schedules.
- Assistswith foreign travel documentation reviews, travel order preparation, voucher corrections, and Government travel card servicing support.
- Provides administrative and ministerial support for contract administration activities, including funding coordination, contract modifications, procurement actions, and Financial Accounting Data Sheet preparation.
- Interfaces with PMs, BFMs, Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), and Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) to supporttimelyfinancial and contracting actions.
- Assists with NavyERPadministrative support, including user account coordination, documentation preparation, and support for financial execution activities.
- Maintains financial records, reporting tools, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with DOD, DON, and NAVSEAfinancial managementrequirements.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Education
- Applicants must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED and three (3) years of relevant experience in financial support or a related functional area; OR
- Bachelor’sdegree in a relevant field; OR
- Master’sdegree in a relevant field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience providing analytical and technical support to Navyfinancial managementactivities.
- Experienceassistingwith budget execution, financial reporting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
- Experience supporting efficient and effective use of Navy resources under the guidance of senior analysts and supervisors.
- Experience monitoring budget execution and entering data into financial systems.
- Experience preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and collecting and analyzing cost data.
- Experienceassistingwith system maintenance, compliance activities, and audit support.
- Ability to performadditionalfinancial support duties as assigned.
