Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, stairwells, and shared communal spaces to ensure they are free of dust, dirt, and debris
- Clean and sanitize apartment units prior to move-ins or after residents move out, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep floors looking their best
- Assist with light custodial duties like trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning carts and storage areas
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed in common areas or apartments
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on residential or commercial spaces
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple areas within tight schedules
