Duties
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and commercial buildings
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to support plumbing projects
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components according to project specifications
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate installations
- Participate in remodeling and handyman tasks related to plumbing and general maintenance
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in construction or plumbing is a plus
- Strong interest in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and building trades
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
