Duties
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning,mulching, watering, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment including trimmers, blowers, and gators safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and excess materials during and after project completion
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment and performing landscaping tasks
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and hand tools effectively
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques for gardens, lawns, trees, and hardscape features
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to support plant health, tree care, and gardening activities
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
