Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel comfortable and appreciated from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and seating options, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of guest seating and service
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, providing exceptional guest relations at all times
- Support the team by handling guest inquiries professionally, fostering positive relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances guest interaction skills
- Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations practices is beneficial
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and guest interactions
