Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist procedures with professionalism and friendliness
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a seamless and welcoming seating process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables efficiently for new guests
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and assisting with table maintenance during service
- Manage guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, providing accurate information about the menu and restaurant policies
- Operate TOAST POS system to process orders when needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations, demonstrating hospitality, attentive listening, and positive communication throughout each shift
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Busser in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse guests and team members
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the restaurant, and lift moderate loads when necessary
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic setting
