Engineering Technician (L2)Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM **training of first shiftPay Rate: $27–$31/hour (DOE)Overtime: Yes (typically ~50 hours/week)Role OverviewThe Engineering Technician supports manufacturing operations by executing process changes, assisting engineers with technical investigations, and performing hands-on chemical and mechanical tasks. This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on technician who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform directed tasks under guidance of senior or mentor engineersAssist with rework, remake, and maintenance of process documentationImplement process changes and new work instructionsSupport technical investigations involving new process techniques and equipmentConsolidate results from process evaluations and modification projectsRespond to non-routine or critical manufacturing issuesProvide technical guidance or training to junior staff as neededEnsure adherence to process control parameters and proceduresComplete hands-on chemical and/or mechanical manufacturing support tasksQualificationsBachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferredOR equivalent experience in chemical/metallurgical lab or manufacturing operations2 years of related manufacturing experienceStrong knowledge of laboratory practices and statistical process control (SPC)Good communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyComfortable working in a hands-on, equipment-heavy production environmentPreferred ExperienceSemiconductor or printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing experienceExperience working in blue-collar, high-volume manufacturing settingsAdditional InformationStandard background check and drug screening requiredFull benefits offeredStart date: ASAPCompany DescriptionProfessional Employment Group of CO is a specialized staffing firm comprised of honest, passionate, and well-networked recruiters.
