Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting children’s development. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of fostering growth and learning in young children.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/QBA/LBA-NC).
- Collect and analyze data on child progress to inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide direct support to children with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and interventions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the development of educational materials tailored to individual needs.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals.
- Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to behavioral interventions.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT or ABAT) is a plus but not required. Must get credential within 90 days of employment
