What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and adoption of critical IT initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, this role requires a unique blend of project management discipline and change management expertise to deliver technology solutions on time and ensure their successful integration into our business operations. The ideal candidate will balance the technical and human sides of the projects, minimizing disruption and maximizing the realization of project benefits.

- Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle for IT initiatives, with an initial focus on two key, high visibility projects from conception to closure, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Change Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, communication strategies, and training programs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership. Translate business needs into actionable project plans and communicate project status effectively to all levels.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project and change-related risks.
- Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams in a matrixed environment, providing direction, motivation, and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Adoption & Sustainability: Monitor user adoption, measure the success of change initiatives, and provide coaching to managers and staff to ensure new processes and technologies are sustained.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of IT
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of experience in project management with a proven track record of managing complex technical projects. Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change initiatives.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM and Prosci, CCMP, or Change Management Foundation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).

This role is based at the Chicago Campus, Hybrid Role or Remote if reside outside of the Chicagoland area.
